Steffen Zenner Properties began back in 1979 with the acquisition of one 5-unit apartment building in Madison, Wisconsin. After moving to the Twin Cities in 1981, our goal was simply to expand and continue to grow in the property management business. We began purchasing and rehabbing small apartment buildings in St. Paul in what we feel are the most desirable neighborhoods. We now own and manage hundreds of apartments and continue to maintain the same high quality standards that we did in the beginning.

With each apartment turnover we take the time and energy to make sure that it’s up to our high standards. A thorough repainting and detailed cleaning is standard, but we also evaluate appliances, lighting, window coverings, and flooring updates every time a new resident moves in. We believe that the quality of one apartment can be the judge of the quality of our entire business, so we always strive to do a thorough job on every single unit. We accomplish this with dedicated on-site employees as well as carefully chosen contracted services that we have worked with for many years.
We continue to take care of our residents’ needs after they move in by carefully choosing and training our on-site managers and having seasoned service technicians who are available to handle any maintenance request quickly when it arises. We try to do all this in the most affordable manner that we can so that we can offer value priced rents to help your budget too.
